The broad view of Paddy Field in Sekinchan show different feeling at different time. The month of March and September are the rice transplanting period, and the view of the paddy field is green. During the harvest season, June and December, the paddy field looks golden yellow.

The Sekinchan Paddy Gallery is one of the active rice-processing factories in Sekinchan that welcome tourists to visit. The Paddy Gallery was established at the end of 2013 to allow visitors to learn every step of paddy planting and processing, from seedling until it becomes the packaged rice you buy at grocery stores.

Sekinchan, which means “village suitable for plantation” in Chinese, lives up to its name as the town is the rice bowl of Selangor. Large plots of land are cultivated to produce the staple food of Malaysians. This area is well-known for its high rice yield and mechanised farming methods.

The place is also famous for its many fruit orchards, with mangoes being one of the main attractions of Sekinchan. Ciku and jambu air are popular among the town's residents and visitors because these sweet and juicy fruits are simply mouth-watering, especially on a hot day. The size of the fruits grown in Sekinchan is also something that must be noted as well. You will get a lot of fruit stalls along the road before and after you enter Sekinchan.

The fishing village is called Bagan and is just a stone's throw away from the town. There are about 300 fishing trawlers in Bagan. You can see a lot of fishing trawler parks along the river at Bagan. The fisherman goes out to catch fish in the morning, about 4-5 am and comes back around 5 pm with many fresh sea fish and prawns.

On your Sekinchan trip, Seafood is another one of the many charms of the quaint town. The row of restaurants right in front of the fishing jetties is why people are willing to travel to Sekinchan just to satisfy their cravings for fresh seafood. Most of the restaurant's signature dishes, mainly their famous seafood dishes, are derived from the Teochew cooking style. The restaurants serve delicious homemade fare at an affordable price as the restaurant concept is based on the atmosphere of a home-cooked family meal.

The Terminal Sekinchan, which houses a Boeing 727 aircraft amidst the paddy fields in Parit 5, will be a new attraction for the tourism sector in Sekinchan and Selangor. This terminal, which will be developed as a Premium Outlet Cafe in the future.

Redang Beach is a small beach in the coastal area; Redang beach is a windy beach. There is one small tributary near the beach; this tributary is the main access route for the fishing boat to the ocean. Every evening, the fishing boats return to Sekinchan from the Strait Of Malacca......

Nan Tian Temple is located at Site A. Nan Tian Temple was established in 1984. Every 1st to 9th of the Ninth month of the Lunar Calendar, the worshipers will celebrate the birthday of the Nine Emperor Gods for ten days. This is the most important religious event in Sekinchan.

Malaysia remains one of the best destinations for tropical rainforest birdlife. Malaysia is geographically located in a tropical climate zone, and most of the territory is dominated by tropical rainforests. A large scale of the forest is countable, but there are still some good birding spots in peninsular Malaysia. Sekinchan is one of the good places for bird spotting, especially for migratory bird watching.

Sekinchan is a coastal fishing village and also a large paddy field area where you are able to see open country birds. Particularly, the winter months are worthwhile visiting.

Msekin Wonderland Water Theme Park is the first kid's water park in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Msekin Wonderland is located near Pantai Redang Sekinchan. This water park is adjacent to Sekin Hotel & Resort. This water theme park boasts around ten different pools with slides, fountains and other fun activities. 

Sekinchan also upholds its reputation as the town with the swiftlet nests (Birds' Nests). Swiftlet nests are also better known or more commonly known in the food industry as birds’ nests. Many people, especially the Chinese believe that birds’ nests are luxurious food with many health benefits. The paddy field (padi fields) in Sekinchan is dotted with many customised building structures that are the homes of the swiftlets (Swiftlet House). Visitors can look inside these structures that have been specially constructed for the swiftlets to build their nests. Swiftlet farming is a new industry, about 100 units of birdhouses have been built up in the middle of the paddy field, making a new beautiful view in the paddy field of Sekinchan.

Kuala Selangor is about 29 KM from Sekinchan. Kuala Selangor is located in the southern of Sekinchan. Due to the historical background of Kuala Selangor, Kuala Selangor possess many historical sites that exist on Bukit Melawati; apart from that, there are a few charming tourists attraction like Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Firefly Park, Sky Mirror and Eagle Watching. Fresh seafood is another attraction for Kuala Selangor.
